Pass It On is a nonprofit formed to collect new and gently-used sports equipment and clothing for children in need, as well as to raise and donate funds to help kids participate in sporting events ...so everyone can play.
Wade Crum, now 18 and a student at Carnegie Mellon University, founded Pass It On when he was 13. He was inspired to create his nonprofit after wanting to donate his own soccer clothing and equipment to kids who need it and not finding an organization dedicated to that mission. wadecrum@passitonsoccer.net
Wade's mom, Sara Crum, runs the ground operations of Pass It On in Arizona while Wade is at school in Pittsburgh, but Wade is still managing Pass It On remotely. To receive donations for your team or school, or to donate items or funds, please contact Sara Crum at saracrum@passitonsoccer.net
Please consider a financial donation to Pass It On to help us support all the kids in Arizona who need sports equipment and clothing. Our donations have helped level the playing field and allowed thousands of children to enjoy sports and reap the physical and mental health benefits of them. Wade tells you more about Pass It On in this video and we appreciate you watching it! The donation Portal is below.
Pass It On was excited to co-host a free soccer clinic and donation event at Edison Park with Rising Families! Children ages 4-14 did drills and had scrimmages with Channing Chasten, a former Phoenix Rising professional soccer player. He also read his new children's book to them. The children received new cleats and water bottles, and children's clothing. What a great day!
Jordan Moreno sits down with Wade to discuss what we do for the community and what is on the horizon for Pass It On!
We had a great time doing a soccer equipment collection and supporting Channing Chasten, formerly with Phoenix Rising FC, at the book launch party for his children's book, The 1% Kid! @channingchasten
We are so excited about our partnership with Rising Families! We have joined forces with that great organization to provide much needed equipment to their soccer programs in South Phoenix, including all their soccer uniforms and soccer balls. Thank you Rachel Sisneros for all you do for the kids!
We were honored to march in the Fiesta Bowl Parade representing the Fiesta Bowl Charities Foundation. We had a great time and met some wonderful people!
We are delighted to be supporting the Phoenix Eagles soccer club with their gear! They have a wonderfully diverse club, including many kids from the refugee community, who all love to play soccer.
We enjoyed working with Victoria, a soccer mom, who connected us with Coach Jose and the soccer team at Coronado High School, a Title 1 school, which desperately needed gear. We were delighted to provide them with soccer balls, practice uniforms, socks, a training ladder, ball pumps, soccer backpacks, and other clothing. We hope you have a great season!
Pass It On was thrilled to be part of the Barrio 2 Barrio neighborhood soccer kids' day sponsored by FC Tucson. We were able to get donations to many kids who had never owned a pair of cleats or shin guards before and they were able to play a soccer scrimmage with safe and important gear. We loved meeting the kids and are so appreciative of FC Tucson's incredible commitment to their community!
A big thank you to Arizona Athletic Grounds for supporting our mission! We appreciate how much they value helping the community!
We are so grateful to our friends at the Arizona Soccer Complex for supporting us and kids in need in Arizona! Please visit their facility and bring your donations!
We are are thrilled about our partnership with Kino Sports Complex! They are collecting donations for us at their soccer and baseball fields.
We are grateful to the great folks at the NSS Strikers Complex for hosting our bin. We have received wonderful donations that have helped more kids play soccer!
We are delighted to announce our partnership with Lerner & Rowe Gives Back! We agree with their philosophy wholeheartedly: "Collectively, through a network approach, we help one charitable organization and in turn they 'pay it forward' by helping families or another charitable organization." The support of the Lerner & Rowe Gives Back foundation helps us to continue to "pay it forward" by helping kids in need get the soccer equipment they deserve...so everyone can play.
Please listen to Wade's tribute to Trevor Crouse, a 15-year-old soccer player loved the sport dearly who died in a tragic accident. Trevor's father, Patrick, donated 200 shin guards to Pass It On in honor of his exceptional son- a top student, Eagle Scout, musician, and a wonderful son to his two loving parents.
Wade & Tyler Crum of Pass It On, and some of the great kids from the North Phoenix Christian Soccer Club, explain why we have chosen to partner...so everyone can play.
